After consulting with the Maine IMT, NIMO submitted a proposal to the Mayor’s Office representative for supporting and organizing the PODs in the Rockaways (Queens). No response as of yet.
LSA operations closed down in the afternoon due to wind and heavy snow. Snow accumulation overnight in Queens was about 5-6”. Operations are up and running on Thursday morning.
The New York State Emergency Management Director was fired overnight by the Governor.
