Atlanta NIMO update
Sunday November 4, 2012
· Red Cross arrived today and provided food to over 500 responders.
· Atlantic Beach and Long Beach City Halls are now fully powered by generators.
· Long Beach City Hall will be open for business Monday morning.
· FEMA is now located in Long Beach and providing assistance to residents.
· National Incident Management Team (Red Team) will arrive Wednesday to shadow the Indiana Type 3 team and assume command of Barrier Island Branch.
· Over 8,000 blankets arrived today in anticipation of the coming colder weather.
· Numerous donations of clothes and other goods continue to arrive.
